Bakari are a family-run artisan bakery in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Inspired by Scandinavian baking traditions, Bakari strive to bring the people of Belfast delicious baked goods using local, organic ingredients where possible and imported organic where necessary. At Bakari, making a positive impact through food has always seemed like a no-brainer. If you can offer someone a loaf of bread made with organic grains, grown in Ireland, that has a long fermentation which makes it good for your guts and fully nutritious, and do that at an affordable price then what's not to like. Bakarí was founded in the summer of 2022. They started selling their products wholesale to shops and cafés from an industrial unit in Bangor and in December 2023 opened the shop on 25 Donegall St.
