Nick Saltmarsh, Josiah Meldrum and William Hudson founded Hodmedod in 2012 to supply beans and other products from British farms. Hodmedods are committed to providing quality food from British farms that's more sustainably produced. They work with British farms to source a range of top quality ingredients and delicious foods - with particular interest in searching out less well-known foods, like the fava bean – grown in Britain since the Iron Age but now almost forgotten – and black badger peas. Shifting away from a meat-based diet is an essential part of transitioning towards a greener future. Peas and pulses are an excellent protein substitute that take far less energy, and fewer resources and land-space to produce. Thankfully, Hodmedods are helping to make this transition totally painless - by providing a range of delicious and versatile peas and pulses. Hodmedods also stock many other products, including seeds, cereals, flours, and pastas.
