
Tasty, versatile and easy to cook, these British-grown whole olive green lentils don’t need soaking and add a superb rich, nutty flavour to soups, stews and salads.
Hodmedods began trialling lentils in the UK in 2015 and had their first commercial harvest in 2018. Now they work with a small group of farmers in Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire and Sussex, all of whom are working to create more diverse, regenerative farming systems.
These organic lentils are grown by Alice and John Pawsey at Shimpling Park Farm in Suffolk, on the Fring Estate in Norfolk, and on the Kingclere Estate in Hamshire.
